    Children Academic Investment Foundation (CAIF) is committed to protecting the privacy of our donors, sponsors, employees, volunteers, and beneficiaries. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

    Donor Privacy Policy

    We understand that privacy is important to our donors and supporters. We are committed to protecting your personal information.

    1. Information Collection

    Donors' information including contact details, emails, phone numbers, and other contact information will be handled privately and not shared with any third party without explicit permission.

    2. Confidentiality

    No private information will be shared with a third party except where required by law or as explicitly permitted by you.

    3. Public Disclosure

    If any information is shared with the public, it will only be information that you have explicitly permitted us to share. You may request anonymity in all communications and publications.

    4. Donor Communications

    The Foundation will maintain regular contact with donor partners and provide financial statements upon request after project completion. We will respect your communication preferences and will not contact you more frequently than you have agreed to.

    Document and Records Retention Policy

    The Foundation maintains strict policies regarding the retention and disposal of documents containing personal information.

    1. Financial Records

    All financial documents and records must be kept for at least five (5) years before destruction. Destruction is only carried out after mutual consent with the Board.

    2. Employment Records

    All employment documents must be kept for the duration of active employment. Employment records of former employees will be destroyed after 5 years, in accordance with applicable laws.

    3. Beneficiary Records

    Records pertaining to beneficiaries will be kept confidential and secure. Access to these records is restricted to authorized personnel only.

    Employee and Volunteer Data Protection

    1. Personal Data Protection

    The Foundation is committed to protecting employees' and volunteers' personal data. We maintain secure systems to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure of personal information.

    2. Confidentiality Requirements

    Employees and volunteers must maintain strict confidentiality regarding all organizational information, beneficiary data, donor information, and internal communications. Confidential information must be kept within the organization and not shared with third parties unless approved by the Board.

    3. Data Access

    Only authorized personnel have access to sensitive information. Access is granted on a need-to-know basis to perform job functions.

    • Request correction of inaccurate information
    • Request deletion of your information (where legally permitted)
    • Withdraw consent for communication at any time
